Cancellation, Return & Warranty Policy

At Global Technology, your satisfaction matters to us. We work hard to ensure every product meets your expectations, and if something isn’t right, we’re here to help. Please read our cancellation, return, and warranty guidelines below.

Cancellation Policy

Before Shipping

  • You may cancel your order anytime before it has been shipped.
  • A minimum ₹500 (payment gateway or processing fee) will be deducted from your refund.

After Dispatch

  • If the order is cancelled after it has already been shipped, two-way shipping charges + gateway fees (if any) will be deducted before issuing a refund.

14-Day Return Policy

You can request a return or replacement within 14 days of delivery if:

a) The product is damaged, defective, or does not meet our quality standards (see Section 3.1).
b) The product is missing components, parts, or accessories.

Warranty Policy

Service methods and availability may vary by your state or city.

What’s Covered

  • 1-year warranty (based on the warranty purchased at checkout) for manufacturing defects on laptops/desktops.
  • 6-month warranty on battery and adaptor.
  • 6-month warranty on MacBooks.

What’s Not Covered

  • Physical damage
  • Accidental or liquid damage
  • Customer-induced issues
    Note: Extended warranty applies strictly to manufacturing defects.

Warranty Timelines

  • Issue resolution may take up to 30 days, depending on technician visits, pickup, delivery, and repairs.
  • If the issue cannot be resolved within the timeframe, Global Technology may offer a replacement or refund, applying a depreciation of 1% per month based on days of usage.

Buyback Program

You may return the product anytime during the warranty period. A depreciation of:

  • Minimum 10%, or
  • 3% per month,

(whichever is higher) will apply, minus the cost of any customer-induced damages (see Section 3.2).

Conditions for Return

To ensure your return is accepted:

a. The product must be in its original condition, with packaging, tags, and accessories.
b. The product must not be damaged while in your possession.
c. Remove all personal data before returning the device. Global Technology is not responsible for data loss or misuse.
d. Returns due to buyer’s remorse (wrong model, color, etc.) may have deductions.
e. Ensure safe packaging to prevent transit damage—Global Technology is not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Visit our Contact Us page on https://gtlapy.com/ to request a return.
  2. Do not return products without authorization—unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
  3. For certain products, a technician may be scheduled to inspect the item.
  4. If the product fails the quality check (see Section 3.1), the return is accepted with no charges.
  5. If it passes QC, deductions will apply as per policies.
  6. For approved replacements, dispatch will occur within 24–48 hours after the original unit is received at our warehouse.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Products not in original condition
  • Items damaged due to improper use or handling
  • Customized or personalized items
  • Devices with customer-induced damage (except replaceable parts like keyboard/back panel)

Refund Policy

If the Product is Returned to Us (RTO – Not Delivered to Customer)

a. Once the product reaches our warehouse, a refund will be initiated within 24–48 hours, and the amount will reflect in 14 business days, minus courier charges, except for non-customer-dependent issues (e.g., non-serviceable locations).
b. For COD orders: If the customer doesn’t respond at delivery and the item returns to us, the initial partial payment is non-refundable.

If the Product Was Delivered to You and Then Returned

a. Once the product reaches our warehouse, inspection takes 24–48 hours. Refund is then initiated and completed within 14 business days.
b. Refunds go to the original payment method. COD refunds are issued to the bank details provided.
c. Fees/deductions apply based on:

If the Product is Defective:

  • No charges except depreciation based on months used.

If the Product is NOT Defective:

  • Minimum 10% restocking fee or 3% per month (whichever is higher).
  • Additional charges apply for customer-induced damages (Section 3.2).

Policy Updates

Global Technology may modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Updates are effective immediately once posted on our website. Please review this page regularly for changes.

5. Company Rights

Global Technology reserves the right to:

a. Refuse returns that do not meet policy conditions.
b. Limit returns/exchanges for customers with excessive return history.
c. Decide eligibility for return, replacement, or refund at its sole discretion.
